Founded in 1987, Bridging is a non-profit 501(c)(3), operating 58,000 square feet of warehouse space in Bloomington and Roseville.  Bridging was founded on the simple concept that community resources should be shared with those in need.  Our purpose is to "bridge the gap" between the "haves" and the "have nots". 

Our mission is to provide the economically disadvantaged with a one-time gift of quality furniture and household items which helps to stabilize and improve their lives while effectively using community resources. Through a network of over 160 social service agencies, eligible clients are referred to our warehouse for a once-in-a-lifetime shopping experience.  In 2009, Bridging served 5,146 families (15,173 individuals) in the Twin Cities area. For every $300 donated to Bridging, we can help another family in need.

Please Note:  Bridging will be closed for the Labor Day weekend on Saturday, September 4 and on Monday, September 6.  We resume our regular hours of operation on Tuesday, September 7.

    Two Showcase Events To Be Held To Benefit Charity (Bloomington July 2010) -- A new twist to home interior shopping is about to occur at Bridging, when professional designer, Jennie Korsbon of RCC Interiors, will shop at the non-profit organization’s warehouse (201 W. 87th St., Bloomington) on Friday, August 6 beginning at 9 a.m.  Housewarming parties, hosted by the homebuilder Boyer Construction and RCC Interiors, will be held as fundraisers for Bridging at the home located at 4050 Pipewood Lane in Chanhassen, Minn.
