Imagine you and three of your closest friends racing down Buck Hill-- but not on any rinky dink sled, oh no! You'll be atop a queen-sized mattress! When you register for this event, not only will you have a blast, you will also help local families and individuals in need as all registration fees, donations, and funds raised by Bucks for Bridging teams directly support Bridging.

Thanks to all of our participants and sponsors, the 18th Annual Subway Bedrace raised more than $91,000 to help Bridging furnish homes with hope. This year, we hope to do even better, but we need your help!

Bucks for Bridging

Bedrace teams are encouraged to collect Bucks for Bridging to help furnish more homes with hope. All donations directly benefit Bridging and make a life-changing impact on local families and individuals transitioning out of homelessness and poverty.

Subway Bedrace for Bridging FAQ

Q: How does the racing work?

A: All teams of four are guaranteed two runs down the hill. The top three

teams will advance. This is a bracket-style competition. As a team

advances, they must listen for instructions on the hill.

Q: Can kids participate?

A: Due to insurance demands, all participants MUST be 18 years of age or

older on the day of the event.

Q: Do I have to bring my own mattress?

A: No. Mattresses are provided and after the event, all mattresses are

     donated to Bridging.

Q: Do I have to wear a costume?

A: No, but majority of teams do.

Q: I don’t want to participate, but can I come and cheer on friends?

A: YES! Spectators are welcome to join in the fun outside on the hill to

cheer on the racers. Please use shuttles at Burnsville Center. Due

to limited space the post-race party/concert is open to only

     Bedrace participants.
