How to Receive Furniture & Household Goods from Bridging

In order to receive services from Bridging, you must be referred by one of our partner agencies. 

  1. If you are currently working with a case worker or social worker: Ask for a referral to Bridging or for assistance in getting a referral.
  2. If you are not working with a case worker or social worker: Click here for a list of registered agencies that can provide a referral.
  3. If you still need assistance or other services, these organizations may be able to help. Contact the Health and Human Services division in your county of residence or one of the community resources below. Phone numbers are available on those websites.

What Happens After I am Referred to Bridging?

  • Your referring agency will make an appointment for you at one of our two locations:

    • Bloomington: 201 West 87th Street, Bloomington, MN 55420                 

    • Roseville: 1633 Terrace Drive, Roseville, MN 55113

  • You will have 1 hour to choose the furniture and household items that you need.  Only one family member can do the shopping.  Two volunteers will help you during your shopping appointment at Bridging.

  • Most of the items in our warehouses are gently used, not new. Selection varies from day to day, based on donated availability.

  • Child care is not provided at Bridging. If you must bring your children with you, you must provide proper supervision for them in our lobby during your shopping appointment in the warehouse.

What Does it Cost?

 

There is a $60 appointment fee which might be paid by your referring agency or must be paid by you.  There is also a $165 delivery fee if you want your items to be delivered to your home.  Delivery must be requested by your agency when the appointment is scheduled. We also have new mattresses, box springs and bed frames for sale at a very affordable price.
